Object Pronouns
Pronombres objeto: me, you, him, her, it, us, them
Los pronombres de objeto (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) son la forma que toma el pronombre cuando NO es el sujeto de la oración — es decir, cuando recibe la acción del verbo o va después de una preposición. El pronombre sujeto realiza la acción; el pronombre objeto la recibe.
El mapeo es directo: I → me, you → you (no cambia), he → him, she → her, it → it (no cambia), we → us, they → them. Nota que 'you' e 'it' tienen la misma forma tanto como sujeto como objeto.
Un error muy frecuente de los hispanohablantes es usar el pronombre sujeto donde debería ir el pronombre objeto, especialmente con preposiciones: 'for she' (incorrecto) → 'for her' (correcto). En inglés, TODA preposición exige pronombre objeto después de ella.
La posición es la clave: si el pronombre va ANTES del verbo, es sujeto (I, he, she...). Si va DESPUÉS del verbo o después de una preposición, es objeto (me, him, her...). 'I see him' — I es sujeto, him es objeto.
Con las preposiciones 'between', 'for', 'to', 'with', 'from', 'at', 'of', etc., siempre se usa pronombre objeto: 'between you and me' (no 'between you and I'), 'for him', 'with us', 'from them'.
