Participle Clauses

Having finished..., Being tired... — cláusulas reducidas con participio presente y pasado

Las cláusulas de participio son como funciones anónimas (arrow functions) que reducen una oración completa a una sola línea sin perder significado. 'Having finished the report, she left' es equivalente a 'After she had finished the report, she left' — pero en una sola expresión concisa. El participio puede ser activo (-ing) o pasivo (-ed/-en), y cada uno aporta información diferente sobre la relación temporal y de agencia.

El truco es identificar quién realiza la acción: si el sujeto de la cláusula principal y el de la subordinada son el mismo, puedes reducir. Si son diferentes, necesitas una cláusula completa o un sujeto explícito. Es como en JavaScript: la arrow function hereda 'this' del contexto, pero si necesitas un contexto diferente, necesitas un wrapper.

Participle activo (-ing) = la acción ocurre al mismo tiempo o antes que la principal. Participio pasivo (-ed/-en) = el sujeto RECIBE la acción. Having + pp = la acción fue completada ANTES de la principal. Cada variante es como un timestamp diferente en un log de eventos.
