Too / Enough

Exceso y suficiencia

TOO siempre expresa un exceso que crea un PROBLEMA o impide algo: 'The soup is too hot' implica que no puedes comerla.

La combinación TOO + adjetivo + TO + infinitivo expresa que el exceso IMPIDE una acción: 'He is too young to vote' (es demasiado joven para votar). She is tall enough to reach the shelf'.

Un error típico de hispanohablantes es usar 'too much' donde se necesita solo 'too': 'He is too much tired' en lugar de 'He is too tired'. 'Too much' va solo con sustantivos o al final de cláusula, no directamente antes de adjetivos.
